Joshua brings a broad legal experience to the firm, having worked in numerous practice areas over the
years, including family law, criminal law, wills and estates, property and conveyancing, and Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT). Joshua began his legal career in the United States, working in San Francisco for a plaintiff firm where he gained experience in personal injuries, employment, and small business litigation, and was also involved with national class action lawsuits. Joshua has also previously owned and operated his own retail business in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Clare Sunderland

After a varied career path Clare was admitted to practice law in 2007 and has focused her practice on
in the study of Criminology. He then completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law. During the final years of his studies, Scott gained experience working at Community Legal Centres, including the Family Law Assistance Program at Monash Oakleigh Legal Service, as well as the Springvale Monash Legal Service. Before joining Johnstone and Reimer, Scott practiced locally focusing particularly on Family Law, Wills and Estates, VOCAT, conveyancing and Criminal Law. Scott now practices primarily in Family Law and outside of work, is a passionate follower of sport and particularly the Melbourne Football Club in the AFL. He also spends his time watching movies, camping, exercising and socialising with friends.
Alicia Carr

Alicia successfully completed her Bachelor of Criminal Justice at Navitas College of Public Safety in
2014. Alicia then commenced working in the legal industry in 2014 at a large personal injury law firm in Melbournes East then moved to a large commercial law firm in Melbournes CBD where she gained two years experience within banking and finance and commercial law. Alicia is a local to the Yarra Valley and joined Johnstone and Reimer Lawyers in 2019, and is very happy to now be working closer to home! She works within our busy personal injuries team working on a wide range of TAC and Workcover matters.

has practiced in many areas of law she quickly found a passion for Family Law and has served as the Family Law Team Leader since 2016. Alexandra particularly enjoys mentoring junior solicitors and advocating for clients who are navigating the uncertainty of a family law separation. Alexandra strives to obtain pragmatic, sustainable resolutions for her clients. Alexandra believes in an empathic and wholistic approach to the law.
Benjamin Drinkwater
