In addition to acting as a barrister and solicitor, Joseph also holds various board positions with a number of commercial corporations.

Joseph has 35 years commercial experience, acting as a business advisor to an exhaustive portfolio of prestigious private and corporate clients in the property and commercial business sectors. He has also acted as in-house counsel for Listed Companies.

His understanding of the needs of the Australian, Asian and United States investment market and the laws and regulations in those jurisdictions is unique in the Australian environment and reflective of the overseas assignments and the business that he has undertaken and completed in those countries.

Joseph has appeared in the Magistrates, County, Supreme and Federal Courts as well as Statutory Tribunals. Because of that experience Joseph will, where appropriate, see your case through to and indeed appear for you at the actual trial.

Joseph has been a principal in legal practices since 1987. With a degree in law and economics, and his accounting background, Joseph brings a unique set of skills to commercial transactions, and a sensible and constructive approach, ensuring that he is a “deal maker” rather than a “deal breaker”.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University, is a Certified Practicing Accountant, and an Associate of the Australian Society of Accountants.
